Mete told the newspaper: "He was here to visit. It was a bit shocking to see him come in. You saw him play on Saturday, and then all of a sudden he appeared here out of nowhere.
"They were here for quite a long time. They were here until closing time, so it was a few hours.
"They were here from 4pm, and stayed until 10-11pm approximately. They watched the match between Liverpool and Arsenal. He liked the pub! He was happy, and had a good time. We just buzzed a little, and I took a picture [with him].
"You didn't want to disturb them too much, and I was working at the same time. They took it easy, and enjoyed the evening. They ate their food and liked the atmosphere, so that was good."
