Ivan Toney gets transfer ultimatum as Arsenal target considers his options amid lucrative offer from Saudi Arabian side Al-Ahli

The England international has to decide whether or not he wants to join the Saudi outfit by the end of Monday, according to Give Me Sport. The report adds negotiations involving Saudi Pro League vice-chairman Saad Al-Lazeez and sporting director Michael Emenalo have taken place in London as they aim to green light this transfer.

The 28-year-old, who has also been linked with Chelsea and Arsenal, has been left out of Brentford's first two matchday squads this season amid the transfer links. He is in the last year of his Bees contract and may have played his last game for Thomas Frank's team, with Saudi the most likely next destination due to his reported wage demands.

Since Toney swapped Peterborough United for Brentford in 2020 for a fee worth around £15 million, he has scored 72 goals in 141 appearances for the London outfit. He hasn't played first-team football since helping England reach the final of Euro 2024 this summer.

Bees boss Frank said Toney's future will be resolved by the time the transfer window shuts on August 30. The Saudi window runs until September 30, and it remains to be seen if the forward will stay put or move on before then.
