Harry Kane sends 'advice' to Bayern team-mate Mathys Tel after snubbing Tottenham with Man Utd & Arsenal still in transfer race

Tel appeared to wave farewell to Bayern in midweek, prompting a deluge of transfer interest in the 19-year-old. Amid links with Manchester United and Arsenal, fellow forward Kane has sent the Frenchman some transfer "advice".

He said, via journalist Julian Buhl: "Mathys is a great young player. I've worked with him for 18 months. He has a lot of potential, works and trains hard. He can still improve, but he has the right mindset. My advice is wherever he goes, he should make sure he gets game time and experience."

Tel has not been playing a great deal at Bayern, with ex-Spurs ace Kane largely keeping him out of Vincent Kompany's side. And while an eye-catching Premier League move may appeal, getting regular game time - as Kane says - is key. The teenager has already rejected Tottenham and now he will have to decide on the best move for his career.

Tel, who could cost at least £50 million ($62m, €60m), is running out of time to seal a Bayern exit as the winter window shuts at 11pm on Monday night. However, a loan move reportedly appeals to him.
