'Best I've ever felt' - Harry Kane admits he is in form of his life after bagging brace against Chelsea with England captain targeting Champions League glory

Kane has already hit one hat-trick this season, in a Bundesliga opener against RB Leipzig, while netting twice in three other fixtures. He has reached 10 goals through just six appearances in all competitions.

The 32-year-old was also on target for England in their 2026 World Cup qualifier against Serbia, with his record-breaking tally of goals for the Three Lions being taken to 74. Confidence is flowing through the former Tottenham striker right now.

He concedes as much, telling reporters after helping Bayern to an impressive 3-1 victory over Premier League giants Chelsea at the Allianz Arena: “Physically and mentally, this is the best I've ever felt. In this team, I know I'm going to get chances. I just have to keep taking them.”

Kane has warned domestic, continental and international rivals that he intends to take his game to even greater heights, with a mindset shared with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi meaning that he is always chasing another target. One of the greatest No.9s on the planet added: “It's always the aim to improve and get better.”

It is difficult to see how Kane could offer much more at the moment. He has plundered 95 goals for Bayern through 102 appearances, with that remarkable return allowing him to break his trophy duck by becoming a Bundesliga and German Supercup winner.
