The Manchester City midfielder won the coveted accolade last month, edging out Real Madrid's Vinicius Jr into second. Now, L'Equipe has revealed the exact breakdown of the votes by the international jury of specialised journalists; with Rodri edging out the Brazilian by just 41 points.

This year's edition of the Ballon d'Or proved to be one of the most controversial as Real Madrid boycotted the event when they found out Vinicius Jr was not going to win the 2024 Golden Ball.
