France lost to Spain in semi-finals
Coman played just 15 minutes
Left scarred by lack of minutes
WHAT HAPPENED?
Coman struggled to make any inroads into Didier Deschamps' squad at Euro 2024 and was reduced to a 15-minute cameo against Netherlands in the group stages. And L'Equipe now reports that the Bayern Munich winger is considering hanging up his boots at international level at the age of 28, having battled back from a hamstring injury to take his place in the squad.
Coman made 27 appearances last season and scored five goals, while also registering three assists. He tore his knee ligament and also injured his adductor, before racing back to fitness for the tournament. As a result, his inability to play too many minutes has reportedly left him heartbroken.
