If additional financial breaches are found to have occurred, another points deduction could be on the cards this season, despite <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/everton-deducted-10-points-toffees-premier-league-relegation-zone-punishment-profitability-sustainability-rules-breach/blt57b3f269d5827b76" target="_blank">Everton being docked 10 points</a> already earlier this month. This is due to new regulations stating that any breach of rules should be handled before the end of the current season, rather than being dealt with at a time when the club's standing in the table was confirmed.
