City are waiting with baited breath to see if Haaland is also charged, having posted a sweary reaction to the decision on X, as he wrote the letters 'WTF'. He could be charged for bringing the game into disrepute and may face a suspension.

City face Aston Villa in midweek but will already have to deal with the fact that both Grealish and Rodri are suspended.
