Erik ten Hag's new job? Ex-Man Utd boss to attend Serie A clash between Roma and Juventus amid rumours of possible management return

Ten Hag will be at the game as a guest of the Friedkins, Roma's owners, fuelling rumours that he is being lined up to take charge at the club in the summer. However, La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that there has been no official contact about the role yet.

Claudio Ranieri is currently in charge at Roma but is highly likely to leave in the summer. Ten Hag is searching for his next job after he was sacked by United earlier this season. He was considered a leading candidate for the Borussia Dortmund job in January and is now being linked with a high-profile job in another of Europe's top leagues.

Ten Hag is not just attending the game as a guest of the owners but is also being given the special treatment off the field. He is staying in a hotel that was also used by January signings Victor Nelsson and Anass Salah-Eddine.

Roma are in fine form under Ranieri, winning their last seven Serie A matches to put themselves in contention for Champions League qualification. Sunday's game against Juventus is followed by a trip to Lazio next week.
