Although the English players are cautious after the Wembley heartbreak to Italy three years ago, the British fans are whipping up the frenzy both on the streets and on social media. This surge in online activity is particularly evident on Instagram, where several English players have seen their follower counts skyrocket during the tournament.

Since his inclusion in England's final 26-man squad for Euro 2024, Bellingham's follower count has exploded, increasing by an astonishing 1.6 million. Phil Foden ranks second in follower growth during the tournament. The Manchester City midfielder has gained an impressive 414,000 new followers over the past 30 days. Cole Palmer has also enjoyed a substantial boost in his Instagram following as the young forward has seen his followers increase by 393,000. Kobbie Mainoo and Saka are in the fourth and fifth spot, respectively with an increase of 2333,000 and 171,000 followers. While many of his teammates have seen significant increases in their social media following, England captain Kane has experienced a more modest growth with just 103,860 new followers during the tournament, placing him in the tenth spot.
