EA Sports FC 24 player ratings: Kylian Mbappe, Ousmane Dembele & the best Ligue 1 players in the game

There are no major surprises for who sits at the top of the Ligue 1 ratings. Kylian Mbappe is the joint best-rated star in FC 24 off the back of yet another exceptional season for club and country. He finished as the league’s top scorer once again and bagged a hat-trick in the 2022 World Cup final – becoming only the second man to do so. Needless to say, he is one of the fastest and best dribblers, making him truly unbelievable to witness in the game!

A defensive stalwart for both club and country, Brazilian defender Marquinhos is PSG's captain and has been an outstanding servant for the Parisians over the years. He has won almost every trophy with PSG save for the UEFA Champions League and the centre-back will be hoping that he can finally lift it in the upcoming season.

Among the most elite defenders in the world, last season was unimpressive by the veteran's high standards, which has resulted in a -1 downgrade to 87 in FC 24.

One of the highest-rated shot-stoppers in the game, Donnarumma had a fairly average for club and country last season, while his performances in the Champions League weren't good either. As a result, EA reduced his rating by one point for the second season running, making his new rating 87.

After several injury-plagued lacklustre seasons at Barcelona, Dembele played a prominent role in their successful 2022-23 season, registering eight goals and nine assists from 35 games in all competitions as Barca won the La Liga crown. Now plying his trade at Parc des Princes, the 26-year-old Frenchman also starred for 2022 World Cup finalists France, which has seen his rating receive a +2 bump to 86.

In the last decade, Navas has impressed the fans with his incredible shot-stopping ability. He was instrumental in Real Madrid's unprecedented three-peat in the Champions League before shining for PSG following his move to Parc des Princes.

Sadly, after the arrival of Donnarumma at PSG, Navas has become the second choice, but whenever he has been called into action he has always proved his quality, including a short-term loan spell at Nottingham Forest in the Premier League. He has suffered a two-point downgrade from last year's rating.

Achraf Hakimi is an incredible modern right-back many players like to use in Career Mode and Ultimate Team. The pace and technical prowess that he possesses also make him a versatile option as a right-wing back and even a right midfielder. Despite playing a major role in Morocco's exploits at the 2022 World Cup, his rating has remained the same from last time out.

The summer signing from Bayern Munich, centre-back Lucas Hernandez has been given an 84 rating. He was 84 rated in FIFA 23, but a lack of game time due to a serious ligament injury last season means his overall hasn't progressed at all from last time out.

One of Hernandez's centre-back partners is next on the list as Milan Skriniar has been given an 84 rating. He was 86 rated in FIFA 23, which means he has suffered a -2 downgrade in his FC 24 overall.

As you might have guessed by now, once again the Ligue 1 top 10 ratings will be dominated by PSG! AS Monaco’s prolific goal-getter Wissam Ben Yedder is one of the exceptions from other clubs with a deserved 83 rating.

Having rejoined Lyon last summer following the expiration of his deal at Arsenal, Lacazette enjoyed a rich vein of form last campaign, scoring an impressive 27 Ligue 1 goals, finishing second only to Kylian Mbappe in Ligue 1's goal-scoring charts. Unfortunately, the veteran's goal-scoring exploits have not earned him a rating upgrade on FC 24 as he retains an 83 rating from last year.

Marco Asensio left Real Madrid in a bizarre fashion after the club failed to extend his contract. He was eventually snapped up by Paris Saint Germain and seems to be already thriving in his new adventure. Despite enjoying his most productive campaign at the Bernabeu last season, his 83 overall rating hasn't received a bump.

Presnel Kimpembe once used to be an established option for the centre back role at PSG, but has been a bench warmer for some time now following a major dip in form. Despite the lack of regular game-time lately, he comes with a very decent rating of 82 in FC 24, which is a -1 downgrade from FIFA 23.
