Kane has told Cleats Club when asked how to deal with nerves, with one of the most fearsome forwards on the planet putting them to good use: “I think that’s completely normal, to be nervous before important games.
“For me, building up to a big game, it’s just making sure I’ve prepared well - doing everything both on the training pitch and off the pitch, whether it is recovery or eating well.
“I feel like if you take care of all those things, then you can go into the game with a clear mind and just use those nerves as a good feeling to go out there and perform - understanding that it’s normal and it just means that you care about the situation. That’s what I try and do - preparation is the most important thing so try and take advantage of it.”
