Ripped Cristiano Ronaldo shares beach snaps with partner Georgina Rodriguez on mid-season holiday as he misses Portugal duty

  • WHAT HAPPENED?

    The Al-Nassr talisman has headed to coastal Saudi Arabia to make the most of a beach vacation with his family. Ronaldo continues to be on top of his physical game and shared a picture of his ripped body in an Instagram post. In another snap, he is seen running on the banks of the Red Sea along with Georgina, while in the third picture, he is posing along with all his kids.

    Along with the post, Ronaldo wrote a caption that read: "Recharging in Saudi Arabia with the family! ❤️".

  • THE BIGGER PICTURE

    Ronaldo was included in Portugal's preliminary 32-man squad by manager Roberto Martinez but was omitted from the squad list for the game against Sweden. The coach has also rested several other first-team players including Diogo Dalot, Joao Cancelo, Danilo Pereira, Otavio, Ruben Neves, Vitinha and Joao Felix.

    WHAT NEXT?

    Ronaldo will reportedly join Martinez's squad after the Sweden match to take part in the second friendly against Slovenia on March 26. After completing his international commitments he will return to the Middle East to rejoin Al-Nassr before they face Al-Tai on March 30.
