'Ciao, Daniele' - Antonio Conte posts emotional tribute to young Napoli fan who passed away following battle with illness

Conte mourned the death of a young Napoli fan named Daniele as he paid an emotional tribute to him. The manager took to Instagram and share an old image of him meeting the young fan and wrote as the caption: "Love enclosed in a smile. Ciao Daniele."

Young Daniele had been ill for some time but had enjoyed spending time with the Napoli team. The young boy's loss has clearly had a big effect on Conte and the Napoli dressing room. After the club's Serie A clash against Fiorentina on Saturday, the ex-Chelsea and Juventus manager did not attend the post-match press conference, with his assistant Cristian Stellini taking over his duties and explaining the situation to the media.

David Neres, Romelu Lukaku and Scott McTominay were on target as Napoli picked up a 3-0 win and extended their lead to three points at the top of the Serie A table.

Conte's side will be back in action next Sunday as they take on Verona in a Serie A clash at home.
