The winger reflected on the team's poor performance, but expressed optimism on the future of the team, in a press conference Friday, in advance of AC Milan's friendly against Manchester City Saturday night in New York.
"It was disappointing to exit as early as we did. I've had a lot of time to think about it," he said. "Obviously, for me, it was important to also take the time off and take some rest. "I'm excited to be here. I got some good rest, and I'm really just ready to get started. Obviously, we have a lot of games ahead this season."
