Although Chelsea showed extraordinary resilience and perseverance to seal a comeback win their leaky defence was once again exposed. In the last six matches, they have conceded at least two goals but still remain unbeaten as they have been spared the blushes by their forwards who have responded in equal measure by scoring 18 goals. This made them the first top-flight side to both score 2+ goals and concede 2+ goals in six consecutive matches in all competitions since 1989. Interestingly, it was Chelsea themselves who held the record to date.
