Chelsea captain Reece James confirms visit to fan who suffered heart attack during Man City clash and was saved by medics

James has revealed on Instagram that he visited a supporter who sustained a heart attack during the game, and was clinically dead for 20 minutes. The medical emergency took place at Stamford Bridge but medics battled to save the fan's life, and managed to do just that.

Chelsea's game with City was one of the most intense of the season so far, with the game ending 4-4 after a 95th-minute penalty from Cole Palmer. The Blues fell behind three times in the game, but were able to rescue a point.

James will next be in action for Chelsea after the international break when they play Newcastle at St James' Park. The right-back has not been included in England's squad for their games against Malta and North Macedonia.
