Last week O Jogo reported that European giants like Barcelona and Real Madrid have reportedly shown interest in the youngster who has appeared in nine matches across all competitions from Benfica. The report also claimed that the Red Devils included a buy-back clause in his contract they could exercise to bring him back to Old Trafford.

Per Record, Benfica included a €50 million (£41.8m) release clause in the player's contract but under the buy-back clause, the Premier League giants could re-sign for a much lesser value at €20m (£16.7m). The Manchester club would, however, wait for some more time to assess the player's progress before deciding to trigger the clause.
