The Uruguayan's future at Barcelona has been a subject of speculation for quite some time now with giants like Bayern Munich and Manchester United reportedly keen on signing the defender in the upcoming summer transfer window.

However, according to Mundo Desportivo, the Catalan giants are not considering selling their star player as they plan to offer him a new long-term deal. Araujo's current contract with the club runs until the end of the 2025/26 season.

Last month ESPN reported that Barca could consider selling the 6'4 defender in the summer if they receive an offer close to €100 million ($109m/£85.5m). The player, however, has always maintained that he is happy to continue with the club.
