Ex-Arsenal midfielder heading to Turkey?! Former Gunners ace considers Galatasaray switch two years after Emirates departure

Per Sky Germany, Leverkusen midfielder Xhaka is considering a move to Galatasaray this summer, and has told his entourage to explore the possibility of a move. Gala are long-term admirers of the former Arsenal star, but he has a contract with the Bundesliga side until 2028.

Leverkusen are said to be willing to negotiate a deal for Xhaka this summer and are willing to take a low transfer fee, due to the Switzerland international's exemplary service. The midfielder has made 96 appearances for the club and played a key role in their Bundesliga triumph last season.

Xhaka spent seven years at the Emirates, winning the FA Cup twice. The veteran midfielder has also won 135 caps for Switzerland.

Leverkusen play Augsburg this weekend and must win to delay Bayern Munich's coronation as Bundesliga champions.
