According to X (Twitter) account Film Updates, when asked if he liked football, DiCaprio reportedly replied, "What's Arsenal?" After seeing DiCaprio's remark, Ozil took to social media to take a brutal dig at the movie star.

The German's comments are a subtly humorous jab at reports that DiCaprio prefers to date women younger than 25. The 49-year-old recently called it quits on a relationship that began in 2017 with then-20-year-old model Camilla Morrone. After a five-year romance, the two broke up. There's no denying DiCaprio's dating history follows a trend of many relationships terminating before his partners turned 26. Actress Madalina Ghenea and Victoria's Secret models Toni Garrn and Erin Heatherton are among his recent ex-girlfriends.

When Arsenal's arch-rivals Tottenham Hotspur became the first side in Premier League history to lose five straight home games after leading 1-0 in each game earlier this month, Ozil said on social media: "Who else should be able to break that record? Bottle Job FC is back."
