Anthony Martial's options revealed as three clubs join race to sign forward on free transfer after Man Utd departure

The French forward is now looking for his next destination after the Sir Jim Ratcliffe-led club decided not to extend his contract which is set to expire in June. As per Sky Sports, Ligue 1 sides Lyon and Marseille are showing interest in him, alongside Turkish side Besiktas.

Earlier this week, Martial announced on social media that he will be departing Old Trafford, ending his nine-year tenure with the team. The Frenchman has struggled with injuries in recent seasons, but that hasn't stopped prospective suitors. Reports have suggested that clubs in Mexico, MLS and Saudi Arabia are also keeping an eye on the situation, but it is reported the player would much rather stay in Europe.

During his nine years with the team, he scored 90 goals and made 317 appearances, although it's safe to say his abilities have declined. Due to his three seasons of injury struggles, Martial has only made 13 Premier League appearances this season, managing just one goal.

With his contract set to expire soon, Martial will now begin talks with the interested parties as he will be available for free for the clubs to sign.
