Alisha Lehmann targets dream trophy double in debut Juventus season - with Swiss star hailing ‘amazing journey’ in Italy

The Switzerland international forward moved to Turin in the summer of 2024. She made that switch alongside boyfriend Douglas Luiz, with both bidding farewell to English football as they severed ties with Aston Villa.

Their relationship is said to have come to a close, with Luiz seeing a return to the Premier League speculated on. Lehmann, meanwhile, is feeling happy and settled in her current surroundings.

Serie A title glory has been savoured, with major silverware being lifted there, and Juve still have a cup final to come. Swiss star Lehmann wants to see collective efforts rewarded in that contest.

Lehmann has posted on social media: “To my team: I’m so proud of every single player, the personalities we have and all the work we‘ve put into the training and games. We grew as a team and we won as a team.

“We got incredible players and we always play for each other. To be part of this amazing journey and team is just a great feeling, we are one. We are JUVENTUS, we are YOUTH and we are TOGETHER. FINO ALLA FINE ALL TOGETHER.

“Now we focus on the Cup final next weekend, together we make dreams come true.”

Lehmann is looking to add to her medal collection at club level before attention turns to international matters. She is expected to form part of Switzerland’s squad for a European Championship on home soil this summer.
