WHAT HAPPENED?
Lehmann, who recently followed boyfriend Douglas Luiz and joined Juventus from Women's Super League side Aston Villa, has joined the Switzerland squad and started preparations for their upcoming Euro 2025 qualifying matches. The midfielder took to Instagram to share a photograph and a video from the national team camp.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
The 25-year-old has had a hectic week as she put pen to paper on a three-year Bianconeri contract. She also stayed up until 3am to catch Brazil's men's team in action in Copa America 2024 during the weekend. Unfortunately for her, Douglas Luiz and Co failed to qualify for the semi-final after going down against Marcelo Bielsa's Uruguay in a penalty shoot-out.
DID YOU KNOW?
The former Villans star has scored just one goal in the current Euros qualifying round with her only strike coming in Switzerland's 2-1 win over Hungary in May. Switzerland are already assured of a place in the tournament as hosts.

WHAT NEXT FOR SWITZERLAND?
The Swiss are all set to face Turkey first on July 12 in an away fixture followed by a meeting against Azerbaijan in Lausanne on July 16.
