Well, I'm watching City vs West Ham with Mario Balotelli and I’m here to tell you that his dream is to play for Boca. So now the ball is in your court. In June he is a free agent.”

Balotelli is <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/mario-balotelli-what-happened-most-interesting-man-in-the-world/bltcdabaf1c326fd3d3" target="_blank">currently on the books of Adana Demirspor</a>, but will see his contract in Turkey expire this summer. He may be offered the opportunity to head for South America at 33 years of age, with Boca having shown when snapping up Edinson Cavani that they are prepared to put faith in veteran goal-scorers.
