The most pressing issue at Milan right now is not the dropped points at Juventus, but the absence of Christian Pulisic. Manager Ruben Amorim confirmed after the 1-1 draw at the Allianz Stadium that the American, who was a key attacking force through December 2025, simply cannot play at the moment. Three matches into the season, Pulisic has not contributed a single minute, and Amorim has offered no clear timeline for his return. Francesco Camarda has also been unused across all three matchdays, adding to a sense that Amorim is working with a restricted attacking group.

The draw itself told a familiar story about Milan's creative limitations. The team was flat and predictable for long stretches, with Adrien Rabiot pushed into an advanced role that produced little, and Diego Moreira struggling badly on debut. The only real spark came from substitute Alphadjo Cissé, whose composed finish gave Milan the lead before Federico Gatti's late header denied them all three points.
