Savinho's proposed move to Tottenham Hotspur is on the verge of collapsing as Manchester City are all set to block the transfer, despite the Brazilian's interest in joining the north London club. Savinho was not included in the matchday squad for City's season opener against Wolves last weekend but Pep Guardiola later insisted that he wants the player to stay.
Manchester City's Ederson and Savinho have been left out of Pep Guardiola's squad for the Citizens' Premier League opener against Wolves. The two Brazilians have been linked with moves away from the Etihad this summer; however, Guardiola has claimed that the pair have not been left out because of their uncertain futures with the eight-time English champions.
Tottenham have reportedly opened talks with Manchester City over a shock move for winger Savinho, with the Brazilian open to making the switch if the clubs can agree on a fee. Spurs boss Thomas Frank is said to be a big admirer of the 21-year-old, who only joined City last summer, and the Lilywhites have presented their first proposal worth £43 million ($58m).
