Newcastle scout Genoa star


Newcastle have sent scouts to watch Genoa forward Krzysztof Piatek ahead of a possible January move, according to the Newcastle Chronicle.

Magpies boss Rafael Benitez is keen to bolster his frontline during the transfer window and has been impressed with Piatek's form since joining from Cracoviia in the summer.

The 23-year-old, who has scored nine goals in 12 Serie A appearances so far this campaign, is believed to be valued in the region of £14million ($18m).

Benfica defender keen on Juve switch


Alex Grimaldo is hoping for a move to Juventus, who could target the Benfica left-back if Alex Sandro is sold, Calciomercato report.

The former Barcelona youngster has impressed in Portugal in recent years and has one goal in ten appearances to his name so far this season.

It's been suggested that current Juve left-back Sandro could be a target for Jose Mourinho's Manchester United in January.

Real Madrid's Marcelo has been touted as a potential replacement but this report claims that Grimaldo could also be on Max Allegri's radar.

Rondon hints at permanent Newcastle switch


Venezuelan striker Salomon Rondon has suggested that he would be open to a permanent transfer to Newcastle at the end of his season-long loan deal.

Rondon, 29, is currently on loan from Championship side West Brom and has scored two league goals for the Magpies to date.

It's claimed that the striker has recently moved his family to the North East.

"I have played around the world but to be settled already is good. I am settled and my family is settled, I now have to just keep on working," Rondon said.

Ranieri eyes move for Watford's Okaka


Newly appointed Fulham manager Claudio Ranieri could be set to make a move for Watford striker Stefano Okaka, according to Tuttomercatoweb.

Okaka had a previous spell with the Cottagers in 2010 and worked together with Ranieri at Roma.

The former Leicester City boss is said to view Okaka as the perfect alternative to first-choice striker Aleksandar Mitrovic.

29-year-old Okaka, who has made four appearances for Italy to date, is finding opportunities limited at Watford this season, with the likes of Troy Deeney, Isaac Success and Andre Gray all ahead of him in the pecking order.

Juventus make offer to sign Toulouse starlet Todibo


Toulouse defender Jean-Clair Todibo is the subject of an offer from Serie A champions Juventus, according to Calciomercato.

The 18-year-old Frenchman can play in defence or in midfield and has made ten league appearances for Toulouse this season.

He is, however, yet to sign a professional deal with the Ligue 1 side and this exclusive report claims that Juventus are keen to snap him up in January.

Todibo, who has also been linked with Liverpool, Inter Milan and Bayern Munich, is said to be mulling over the offer from Max Allegri's side.

Moreno hoping for La Liga return


Liverpool defender Alberto Moreno is hoping to move back to Spain when his contract expires at the end of this season, according to Estadio Deportivo.

The left-back is unlikely to be offered a new deal at the club, with Scotland captain Andy Robertson thriving as Jurgen Klopp's current first choice option.

The report claims that Moreno could actually earn more if he moved to another Premier League side, but would instead prefer to move back to his homeland for family reasons.

They add that a return to Sevilla would be Moreno's ideal transfer but also mention Atletico Madrid and Barcelona as potential destinations.

Pulisic set for Chelsea transfer


USMNT star is valued at around £70m

Borussia Dortmund's US wonderkid Christian Pulisic is set to leave Germany for Chelsea, according to the Daily Mail

Pulisic, 20, is out of contract in 2020, with concern mounting at Dortmund that he will not open negotiations on an extension. 

That has caught the interest of the Blues, who would be prepared to meet BVB's reported £70 million ($90m) valuation on their hotshot.

No Liverpool offer for Dembele


Barcelona have sought to quash talk of Ousmane Dembele moving to Liverpool, with the Liga giants having no offers on the table.

The Blaugrana moved to land the 21-year-old winger in the summer of 2017, with €105 million (£93m/$120m) of the record-breaking fee received for Neymar invested in the exciting France international.

Dembele struggled to justify that fee amid form and fitness during his debut campaign, but did become a World Cup winner over the summer and has netted six times in 15 appearances this season.

Arsenal and Spurs to battle for Serie A defender


Both Arsenal and Tottenham are set to battle for Sampdoria defender Joachim Andersen, according to Calciomercato.

Aside from the London clubs, Inter and Manchester United are reportedly interested in the 22-year-old Andersen.

However, the two directors of Sampdoria flew to London to meet with the two Premier League clubs on Thursday.

Mahrez was determined to leave Leicester


Riyad Mahrez was determined to leave Leicester in 2017, according to former assistant Pascal Plancque, who says the club was not prepared to let him go at the time.

After rising to prominence during Leicester's title-winning season, the star attacker was determined to leave the club in the wake of ex-team-mate N'Golo Kante's departure to Chelsea.

However, according to Claude Puel's former assistant, the club was unable to let him go at the time, though he would eventually be sold to Manchester City in a £60 million ($77m) deal last summer.

Galatasaray want Liverpool's Origi on loan


Divock Origi has struggled for matches at Liverpool, and Turkish side Galatasaray appear set to make a move to sign the Belgian forward.

According to ESPN, Galatasaray are looking to bring Origi in on loan in January with the club having authorized an initial offer.

Origi has played just 11 minutes for Liverpool this season, but Galatasaray are in need of a striker following the departure of Bafetimbi Gomis.

Locadia ready to quit Brighton


Brighton striker Jurgen Locadia is ready to quit the club after hitting out at manager Chris Hughton over a lack of playing time. 

Locadia has started only one Premier League match this season and is expecting to leave the club in January.

“Soon there will be a conversation and I hope Brighton respect me in this situation," he said according to the Sun.

“I want to play at the highest and not be loaned to a club in the Championship or something like that.

“I hope to find a club in Spain or Germany where I can get a fair chance to show myself.”

AC Milan return is in hands of 'fantastic' Ibrahimovic- club president


 AC Milan president Paolo Scaroni says Zlatan Ibrahimovic's potential return to the club is in the hands of the 'fantastic' Swede.

Ibrahimovic is currently under contract with the LA Galaxy and looks set to remain with the MLS club heading into the new year.

The Spanish star has scored four and assisted eight in 12 starts this season, drawing interest from Chelsea and Real Madrid.

However, the former Liverpool midfielder is said to be keen on a Milan stay if the club were to offer a renewal soon. 

Neymar not a Barcelona target... yet


Neymar is not a transfer option “on the table at the moment” for Barcelona, claims general manager Pep Segura, but a return to Camp Nou is not being ruled out.

Segura told Cadena Ser: "I have already said that no young player that leaves for money will return. We stand by that. But the circumstances with Neymar are totally different."
