Kerr had a successful stint with Reading that saw him named Player of the Year in the 1993/4 season

Gor Mahia coach Dylan Kerr is rooting for Reading to beat Derby County in the opening match of the English Championship on Friday.

The Loyal Royals will kick-off their campaign with a home match against Derby County and Kerr, a former left-back, who won the championship title with Reading in 1993/4 season, has tipped his former side to win.

Tomorrow the Championship kicks-off...Reading v Derby County. I want to wish the Loyal Royals all the best for the 2018/19 season.

“The fans always amazing. Let’s hope its three points. Ooh Lord,” said Kerr.

Kerr had a successful stint with Reading that saw him named the Player of the Year in the 1993 season.

Kerr’s Gor Mahia are currently top of the Kenyan Premier League with 55 points, 15 above second-placed Sofapaka. K’Ogalo will next take on Nakumatt.
