Chivu admits CL scars after Inter win

Inter Milan head coach Cristian Chivu opened up on the psychological hurdles his side had to overcome during their victory over Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League. A late strike from Carlos Augusto proved decisive on a night where the Nerazzurri had to navigate a significant portion of the match with ten men.

Carlos Augusto continues to rescue Chivu: he is better than Dimarco and is earning a contract extension

Another goal, another decisive contribution, another performance that raises doubts about the choices to be made in that area of the team, both now and in the future.

Ten-man Inter Milan secured a vital 1-0 victory over Shakhtar Donetsk at the San Siro to claim their first win of the Champions League league phase. Despite Alessandro Bastoni's dismissal, Carlos Augusto struck late to reward the hosts' tactical resilience.
