AC Milan striker Gonzalo Higuain wants to link up with Maurizio Sarri again at Chelsea, having previously played under the Italian at Napoli. Hazard unsure on Chelsea future

Gerard Pique will retire in 2020, according to <a href="https://www.mundodeportivo.com/elotromundo/actualidad/20181228/453786490772/portada-mundo-deportivo-viernes-28-de-diciembre-de-2018.html">Mundo Deportivo</a>. The defender is aiming to become Barcelona's president, and Pique is willing to retire in 2020 in order to push for the role in 2021. Pique was with the club from 1997-04 as a youth player before joining Manchester United, but returned in 2008 and has been a vital part of Barcelona's backline ever since.&nbsp;

Mohamed has previously taken charge of on three occasions, but never for more than a year-and-a-half. The Chicago Fire have signed centre-back Marcelo from Sporting CP, <a href="https://www.chicago-fire.com/post/2018/12/27/chicago-fire-soccer-club-acquires-central-defender-marcelo" target="_blank">the MLS side announced Thursday</a>. According to a report in <a href="https://www.abola.pt/nnh/Noticias/Ver/765716" target="_blank">A Bola</a>, the transfer fee for the 29-year-old Marcelo is €500,000. “Marcelo will add necessary leadership along our back line,” Fire general manager Nelson Rodriguez said in a statement.&nbsp;“He is a smart defender who participates in every phase of the game."

Liga MX side Cruz Azul have signed midfielder&nbsp;Yoshimar Yotun after Orlando City failed to sign him to a new contract. The fee was not disclosed in the official announcement, but media reports on both sides of the border put the fee between $3.5 million-$4 million.
