Atletico eye Telles move

Atletico Madrid have identified Porto's Alex Telles as their number one left-back target this summer, according to AS.

Atletico are keen to sign a left-back as cover for Filipe Luis, who has suffered a number of injuries this season.

Telles, who is valued at €40million (£34m/$45m), looks to be their prime target, though Ajax's Nicolas Tagliafico is also under consideration.

Miyaichi signs new St Pauli deal

Japan international Ryo Miyaichi has signed a new contract at St Pauli through to the summer of 2021.

The former Arsenal, Wigan and Bolton winger is the fifth St Pauli player to sign a new contract in the last week after Robin Himmelmann, Philipp Ziereis, Christopher Avevor and Daniel Buballa.

Mourinho lays down Real conditions

Jose Mourinho wants two conditions to be met before considering a shock return to Real Madrid, report Superdeporte.

There have been several reports in Spain suggesting that current Real boss Santiago Solari could be sacked even if Los Blancos retain the Champions League this season.

If Solari does leave then Mourinho is ready to return, though only on the condition he has full control of transfers and the chance to rebuild the squad.

Di Francesco could quit Roma

Eusebio Di Francesco is ready to resign as Roma boss even if they beat Porto in the Champions League on Wednesday, according to Calciomercato.

The 49-year-old's position has been placed under further scrutiny after last weekend's 3-0 derby defeat to rivals Lazio.

Christian Panucci and Paulo Sousa are believed to be in contention to succeed Di Francesco should he stand down.

 

Benfica keen to keep Felix

Benfica hope to increase Joao Felix's release clause to €200million (£172m/$226m) to ward off interest from Barcelona, according to Mundo Deportivo.

Real Madrid, Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain are also among the side's linked with a move for the 19-year-old.

However, Benfica feel Felix would benefit from staying in Portugal for a few more years and hope a new deal, incorporating an increased release clause, will ensure he remains at the club for now. 

PSV youngster extends contract

Talented youngster Mohamed-Amine Ihatteren has signed a new contract with PSV, the club announced on Tuesday.

The 17-year-old midfielder signed his first professional contract a year ago and has earned six senior appearances for the club.

When he made his debut in January, the midfielder became the fourth-youngest PSV debutant ever.

'Bale signing would be massive statement for Spurs'

Clive Allen has urged Tottenham to make a "massive statement" by bringing Gareth Bale back to the club.

Speculation has run rampant in recent weeks as Bale has come under fire from both players and fans at Real Madrid as a result of his perceived loner status.

Allen believes a homecoming with Spurs would be ideal for Bale and the club, who could introduce a new era with Bale and the club's new stadium.

Leicester set to battle Dortmund for Morelos

Leicester City are set to battle Borussia Dortmund and several other Bundesliga clubs in their bid to sign Rangers' Alfredo Morelos, acording to Sky Sports.

The Colombian signed a new four-year contract last September, but it's becoming increasingly likely that he leaves Scotland this summer.

Former Celtic boss and current Leicester manager Brandan Rodgers will consult with the club's transfer committee over the forward, who has scored  28 goals in all competitions this season.

Schalke make approach for Liverpool youngster

Schalke are one of several clubs to have made an approach to sign Liverpool striker Taiwo Awoniyi.

The Nigeria U-23 international, who signed signed a five-year contract with the Reds last summer, has scored six goals in seven games since joining Belgian side Mouscron on loan in January.

The Reds have already fielded loan interest from French trio Metz, Nice and Toulouse, while Belgian side Club Brugge and German duo Hertha Berlin and Mainz have also monitored the forward.

Nasvhille to retain Smith for first MLS season

Nashville SC is set to join MLS in 2020 with manager Gary Smith set to stay on with the club, according to ESPN.

Smith, who won an MLS Cup as manager of the Colorado Rapids, has previously managed Stevenage as well as the Atlanta Silverbacks.

Rangers want 'Dembele money' for Morelos

The former Reds striker has told The Mirror: "Van Dijk is one of those incredibly gifted athletes and would make any defence on Planet Earth significantly better. And if City want to become the dominant force they say they want to, then going all out for him would be a no-brainer."

Managing Real would be an honour, says Seedorf

Clarence Seedorf says would be an “honour” to one day return to Real Madrid as their manager.

Seedorf played for Los Blancos between 1996 and 1999, making 159 appearances for the club while winning the Champions League twice as well as earning a La Liga triumph.

Since retiring as a player in 2014, the 42-year-old has managed AC Milan, Deportivo La Coruna and Shenzhen to varying success, and he is now in the dugout for the Cameroon national team.

Sancho stands to become England's first £100 million ($132m) player, as Dortmund are ready to let the two clubs outbid one another to drive his price higher.

If United did land Sancho, it would put Alexis Sanchez's future into further doubt, though the Chilean's wages will make moving him difficult.
