Having taken advantage of the WSL winter break to take in the PDC Darts World Championship, one of the top events of the UK's annual sporting calendar, Williamson was asked what her walk-on music and nickname would be if she switched careers. Both are staples of any pro darts player, as is the customised shirt each would wear.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
Williamson leaned on her football roots for both the music and the design of a hypothetical darts shirt. She also revealed a secret about her own name that she believes would lend itself to a good darts nickname.
WHAT LEAH WILLIAMSON SAID
"My walk-on song would have to be something like 'Football's Coming Home', everyone would love that," Williamson told Sky Sports.
"My shirt would have a big cannon on the front, for Arsenal, keeping it real. Nickname…I think I was partially named after as well…Star Wars, Prince Leia. So, I'm going to go with 'Princess Leah Williamson'."

The 2024-25 campaign is paused for Arsenal until January 12 when their FA Cup journey gets underway with a fourth round tie against Women's Championship side Bristol City. The Gunners are back in WSL action a week later for the visit of Crystal Palace, making it a rare double header at Meadow Park in Borehamwood, having made the Emirates Stadium their primary home this season.
