The Switzerland international, who recently turned 25, took to social media to share a motivational message ahead of the club's crucial Women's Super League against Manchester United on Sunday.

Lehmann posted a couple of photographs of herself on Instagram with a caption that read, "Never give up, it’s such a wonderful life♥️ Gameday -1."

The Villans head into the United clash on the back of a thumping 7-0 win over Sunderland on Thursday in their final group stage game of the WSL Women's League Cup. The 25-year-old netted the first goal for her side which opened the floodgates. The club, though, might see their impressive win overturned after manager Carla Ward illegally fielded Noelle Maritz.
