Alexander Sorloth confirmed as Barcelona's biggest nemesis since Cristiano Ronaldo after scoring for Atletico Madrid in six-goal thriller at Wanda Metropolitano
Alexander Sorloth equalled Cristinao Ronaldo's record as he scored Atletico Madrid's second goal against Barcelona.
The Norwegian doubled Atletico's lead in the 70th minute after Julian Alvarez broke the deadlock at the stroke of half-time. With the strike at Wanda Metropolitano, Sorloth became only the second player in history after Cristiano Ronaldo to score in six consecutive matches against the Catalan club.

Sorloth's celebrations, however, were shortlived as Robert Lewandowski pulled one back for his side within two minutes of him scoring the second goal. Ferran Torres then netted the equaliser in the 78th minute and Lamine Yamal scored a wonder goal from long distance to put Barcelona in front for the first time in the match. Torres then completed his brace in the 98th minute as Hansi Flick's side clinched a memorable six-goal thriller and climbed back to the top of the La Liga table.
