    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Wrexham collected five wins and two draws across all competitions in October, picking up four clean sheets along the way, and those efforts have been recognised by the EFL when naming their latest list of nominees for Manager of the Month awards. The EFL has said: “As flamboyant as Wrexham are at home under Parkinson, their ability to grind out results on the road improved in October as they picked up 14 points from six unbeaten games – four of them away – to move into the top three.”

  • DID YOU KNOW?

Talismanic midfielder Lee played a leading role for the Dragons as they built momentum, with the target found against Salford before then netting a dramatic winner against Sutton and bagging his 10th goal of the season in an impressive victory at Notts County. The EFL has said of including him among their Player of the Month nominees: “In addition to his all-action style and energy in midfield, Lee scores game-changing goals.”
