West Ham preparing for Mohammed Kudus exit?! Hammers eye Ademola Lookman bid as they seek Ghana international's replacement amid Tottenham interest

Per Sky in France, West Ham are interested in Atalanta star Lookman as they continue talks with Tottenham over a deal for Mohammed Kudus. Lookman, who has a contract with the Serie A club until 2027, would cost around €60 million (£52m/$70m), and the Hammers are demanding £65m ($88.5m) for the Ghana international as Spurs continue their pursuit. Were Kudus to leave, they would then be able to pursue a deal for the Nigeria international.

Lookman is also attracting interest from Atletico Madrid but the former Fulham and Everton winger is said to be keen on a return to London, with Arsenal also said to be interested. He has developed into a star in Italy, providing 77 goal involvements in 118 games with the Serie A club.

Lookman has won 29 caps for Nigeria, scoring eight goals, and has history in the Premier League; he has made 96 appearances in the top-flight but has only scored 11 goals and laid on six assists.

West Ham's approach for Lookman appears to depend on Kudus' future, so they will aim to receive some clarity over the Ghana international's intentions in the coming days. Reports suggest he is keen on a move to Spurs, which may open the door for the Hammers to move for the Serie A star.
