VIDEO: What were Chelsea thinking?! Joao Felix scores debut goal for AC Milan minutes after replacing Christian Pulisic as Blues loanee produces exquisite dink over Roma goalkeeper
Chelsea may already be cursing their decision to let Joao Felix join AC Milan, with the Portuguese netting a sublime debut goal for the Rossoneri.
Amid fierce competition for places at Stamford Bridge, and despite having only rejoined the Blues in the summer of 2024, Felix has headed to San Siro on an initial loan agreement through to the end of the current campaign.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
The Portugal international was restricted to just three Premier League starts for Chelsea, with six of his seven goals for the Blues this term coming away from the English top-flight, but he is already up and running as a Milan player.

DID YOU KNOW?
Felix stepped off the bench in the 70th minute of a Coppa Italia quarter-final clash with Roma, as he replaced USMNT star Christian Pulisic. He found the target less than two minutes later, with a perfectly-weighted pass from Mexican star Santiago Gimenez allowing the 25-year-old to calmly dink over the onrushing Mile Svilar and wrap up a 3-1 win.
WHAT NEXT?
Chelsea could be forgiven for wondering whether they made the right choice in allowing Felix to head for Italy, with Enzo Maresca in need of attacking inspiration as he endeavours to guide the Blues towards a top-four finish and Champions League qualification.
