VIDEO: JJ Watt has custom TST boots made for size 16 feet! NFL legend rocking Burnley’s claret & blue as he prepares to swap football fields

The former Houston Texans and Arizona Cardinals defensive end is preparing to swap one field for another after switching forms of football since retirement. After hanging up his helmet in America, Watt – alongside former USWNT star wife Kealia – is now an investor at Burnley.

Watt has thrown himself into a boardroom role with the Clarets, with regular visits being paid to Turf Moor. He has got a taste for British sporting culture, and that includes trying his luck with a ball at his feet – rather than in his hands.

Watt has talked up his footballing ability in the past, but that will now be put to the test. He is heading to the next instalment of TST, which will take place over the course of six days in Cary, North Carolina from June 5-10. Watt is raring to go after taking ownership of a special pair of claret and blue boots – having initially struggled to find anything to fit his feet.

Burnley, with Watt in their ranks, are one of 48 teams on show at the seven-a-side TST event. Among the others will be the Wrexham Red Dragons – who, like Burnley, also have a women’s side on show – Aguero Team, Nani FC, Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and Hashtag United.
