Sun setting on Cristiano Ronaldo? Flexing Portuguese superstar given time to mull over future on the beach during idyllic summer break with Georgina Rodriguez & family

The Portuguese superstar faced plenty of uncomfortable questions when going goalless through another European Championship campaign for his country – with a missed penalty at that tournament during a last-16 showdown with Slovenia leaving the 39-year-old forward in tears.

Many have suggested that the all-time great should walk away from international football, despite supposedly dreaming of making the 2026 World Cup, with enough records having been shattered to this point. He still has club football to contend with at Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr.

Ronaldo has, however, never been the type to back down from a challenge. He is being given an opportunity to mull over his options during a summer break with partner Georgina and his five children – with CR7 hitting the beach to flex in the fading evening sunlight.

He has offered no indication that he will be stepping down from Portugal duty, after captaining them at another major finals, and the 50 goals that he plundered for Al-Nassr in 2023-24 suggest that he is far from being finished..
