    McElhenney, along with fellow Hollywood chairman Ryan Reynolds, worked hard to bring Parkinson in alongside them at SToK Racecourse in 2021. His track record of securing promotion in EFL circles made him of obvious appeal to the Red Dragons.

    Reynolds was in attendance for the Burton game, and proved to be a lucky charm. Wrexham remain second in the League One table, as they look to make EFL history with a third successive promotion, and now boast a six-point advantage over third-placed Wycombe with five games left to take in.
