Neymar’s wife Bruna Biancardi has explained the “horrible” reason she wore a facemask when attending an NFL fixture in Sao Paulo.

    With competitive American football action heading to Brazil, Santos superstar Neymar made a point of ensuring that he was in attendance. His partner also made the most of an opportunity to watch Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes in action.

    The Kansas City Chiefs, who often have Taylor Swift in their corner, lined up against the Los Angeles Chargers - in a contest that saw visitors from California prevail. Neymar and his party enjoyed their night, with there plenty of smiles on show in their VIP suite.

    Biancardi did, however, take to covering her face up at times. She has now revealed why, with an unfortunate spot leading to a bacterial infection and uncomfortable swelling on her lip.

    Biancardi stated on social media: “It all started with a simple pimple that I wanted to squeeze. It got infected, swelled up a lot, and turned into facial cellulitis.” The 31-year-old model went on to say after sharing some images of her swollen face: “The photos are horrible, sorry! But it's to warn you never to squeeze a pimple again.”

    Neymar and Bruna went public with their relationship in January 2023. They have two children together - Mavie, who was born in October 2023, and Mel, who was welcomed to the world in July 2025. They did split at one point, amid questions of Neymar’s behaviour, but Biancardi has since claimed that the pair are now married.
