Rashford gave possession away cheaply as United fell behind early on against Spurs on Sunday. The forward lost the ball to Micky van de Ven and failed to track back, as the Dutchman sprinted to the byline and crossed for Brennan Johnson to tap home. Fans ripped into the England international as a result.

Rashford has struggled for United this season and only has one Premier League goal to his name, which came against Southampton. He did score twice in the club's 7-0 win over Barnsley in the Carabao Cup but his form has not been up to par since last season, when he only managed eight goals in all competitions.

United travel to Porto in the Europa League on Thursday before taking on Aston Villa at Villa Park in the Premier League next weekend. It remains to be seen if Rashford will keep his place in Erik ten Hag's starting XI.
