WHAT HAPPENED?
After their Copa America victory over Colombia Sunday night, the La Albiceleste captain and Angel Di Maria - in his final international appearance - hoisted their second-straight Copa America trophy.
Despite leaving the match early in the second half with an apparent lower-leg injury, Lionel Messi was healthy enough to lead his national team onto the podium alongside longtime friend and fellow star Angel Di Maria.
