Kyle Walker's wife Annie Kilner learns punishment after pleading guilty to not being in control of £70k Mercedes

The 32-year-old did not attend a hearing a Chester Magistrate’s Court, but saw solicitor Nick Ross enter a plea on her behalf. Kilner was accused of not having proper control of her vehicle after being spotted by police with a phone in her hand.

Kilner was stopped by a patrol car on the evening of June 8, 2024 at traffic lights in Alderley Edge. Prosecutor Michael O’Kane said of the police officer that saw the offence in question: “As he was waiting a car passed the vehicle, a black Mercedes people carrier EQV 300.

“He observed the driver, Miss Kilner, had her mobile phone in her left hand with the other hand on the steering wheel. The officer then pursued and stopped the vehicle and engaged in conversation with the defendant. She said, 'My kids are at padel' and that she was late.”

Kilner initially pleaded not guilty but has agreed to a charge of not having proper control of her vehicle, rather than driving while using a mobile phone. Ross said on behalf of his client: “This was a low-speed incident, an unremarkable incident, and the defendant was on her way to collect her four children on that evening in question and she apologises for the offence.”

Kilner has been given three penalty points and ordered to pay £677 in fines and costs. Chair of the magistrates' bench, Jean Bamford, said: “Three points will go on her driving licence - that makes nine points. She will have to drive very carefully from now on.”

Drama has become an unfortunate theme of Kilner’s life in recent times, with husband Walker making plenty of headlines after fathering two children with ex-Love Island contestant Lauryn Goodman. He is now taking in a loan spell at AC Milan while fighting to save his marriage to childhood sweetheart Kilner.
