  • WHAT A SOURCE SAID

Walker continues to work on building bridges there, with the Daily Mail claiming that a trip to Wales has acted as a “relationship tonic” for a couple that have been together since their teens. A source has told the Mail: “They haven’t been able to spend a lot of time together despite everything that’s been going on. This was supposed to be a chance to share time with their children. Obviously, Kyle hopes it will help him get his feet back under the table.”

    THE GOSSIP

A week-long trip to Wales is said to have set Walker back a six-figure sum, with the Mail source adding: “Sometimes you just want to go somewhere where the kids can have some fun. Their children are what Kyle and Annie have in common and seeing them happy is the most important thing. Yes, they could have flown to a posh hotel in Dubai but, actually, being together on a normal-ish family holiday has been a great tonic for them.”

  • WHAT NEXT?

Walker has said of his extramarital affairs: “What I've done is horrible and I take full responsibility. I made idiot choices and idiot decisions.” He is now looking to make amends, with Kilner expected to join him in Germany this summer – alongside his four children – for international duty with England at Euro 2024.
