Kyle Walker 'desperate' to renew marriage vows with wife Annie Kilner amid fresh start in Milan - with ex-mistress Lauryn Goodman 'hopeful he respects them a second time round'

Walker and Kilner have endured a turbulent time, and indeed there's been speculation the couple could divorce after he fathered two children with Lauryn Goodman, but the AC Milan defender is now keen for his wife to agree to a vow renewal ceremony, according to Heat. Manchester City loanee Walker is also hopeful the move to Italy can be a fresh start for the family and will offer the opportunity to repair their marriage.

A source told Heat: "Although things are pretty tense between them, they both see this move as a chance to save their marriage for the sake of their boys. Annie is going to stay in Cheshire until they have sorted out schools and somewhere to live, but she will be flying out with the kids for some matches. He has made it clear he is desperate for them to get back together and renew their vows, which is why he’s been wearing his wedding ring during all his press conferences in Italy.

"He has promised Annie if they do it again, she can have whatever she wants and that he’ll give her the wedding she always dreamed of. He will stop at nothing to win her back and prove that he can be the husband she deserves. They were in a really good place after Christmas, but Annie feels like the Lauryn situation will always be a shadow over them. She needs Kyle to prove he won’t be taken in by her again. While Annie is in no mood to think about getting romantic with Kyle again, she does want to work things out because they have four children together."

Walker is said to have blocked Goodman from also moving out to Italy as he focuses his energy on his new team and his family. A source told Heat that Goodman is not worried about Walker potentially renewing his vows but simply hopes he can be faithful from now on, saying: "She doesn’t have any strong feelings about Kyle wanting to renew his vows. The way she sees it is he broke his vows the first time, so she hopes he respects them a second time round. Lauryn’s main focus is her children – she doesn’t want to waste her energy thinking about Kyle. He’s taken up enough of her time and she isn’t prepared give him any more. This year is a fresh start for her and her family – she’s looking forward to it being positive and drama-free."

In the meantime Kilner is being tipped to star in Celebrity Big Brother and reveal all about her marriage drama. As for Walker, he made his Milan debut against Inter on Sunday and impressed fans with his "unreal" showing against the Nerazzurri at San Siro.
