    The 22-year-old striker completed a €30 million (£26m/$32m) transfer to Stade Louis II during the summer window. Balogun decided to walk away from Arsenal having thrived in French football while on loan at Reims last season.

    He has already registered three goals for Monaco, breaking out famous Thierry Henry celebrations in the process, and was back on target when facing Reims in his last Ligue 1 appearance. Balogun did not celebrate that strike, but those around him are delighted to see a clinical finisher doing the business.

    Balogun has added to an attacking unit at Monaco that also includes club captain Wissam Ben Yedder, Senegalese star Diatta, ex-Liverpool forward Takumi Minamino and Russian playmaker Aleksandr Golovin. They are next in action against Metz on October 22.
