Harry Maguire's Premier League season is over! Man Utd star suffers injury blow in training to leave Erik ten Hag sweating on his FA Cup final availability - as doubts also raised over his potential Euro 2024 place

According to ESPN journalist Rob Dawson, the Red Devils star suffered a muscle injury in training that is likely to keep him out of action for up to three weeks. This effectively means that Maguire is unlikely to feature in the Premier League again this season as United play their final league game against Brighton on May 19.

United boss Erik ten Hag, however, will hope that the England international recovers before the FA Cup final, which is on May 25 against reigning champions and rivals Manchester City. United already have more than 10 players sidelined, including the likes of Luke Shaw, Lisandro Martinez, Raphael Varane, and Scott McTominay, with a particular deficiency at centre-back. In their last league game against Burnley, defensive midfielder Casemiro paired up with Maguire at the heart of the defence.

Concerns have also been raised over the United defender's participation in the upcoming Euro 2024 and it remains to be seen if the 31-year-old will regain full fitness before potentially travelling to Germany with England next month for the flagship competition.

Ten Hag's side will be next seen in action on Monday when they take on Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park in a Premier League clash.
