Will Cole Palmer be fit to face Tottenham? Enzo Maresca delivers final verdict on Chelsea forward & gives updates on Nicolas Jackson & Noni Madueke ahead of London derby clash

Chelsea have been without striker Nicolas Jackson, winger Noni Madueke, and talisman Palmer of late. However, ahead of facing Tottenham at Stamford Bridge on Thursday, head coach Maresca says all three are "good" after muscular injuries.

The Italian head coach told a pre-match press conference: "Cole Palmer is back, he is okay. Noni Madueke is better. Nico Jackson is better. They are all good."

Palmer is enduring a lengthy goal drought and many have observed Chelsea's drop in form, along with his, has coincided with Jackson's injury. But if both men are back fit to face Tottenham, that is a huge boost for the Blues. Plus, a win will strengthen their chances of qualifying for next season's Champions League.

Chelsea return to Premier League action at home to Spurs on Thursday, followed by a trip to London neighbours Brentford on Sunday.
